Although there is no worldwide directory to which you can refer to check if an email address is valid, there are some things to look out for. Every email address must contain an @ symbol. You can get this by pressing shift and the comma/@ key on your keyboard or remote control.
Be very careful to use the correct letters, case and symbols, as a mistake may result in the email being returned to you undelivered. A good way to be sure you have the correct address is to get an email sent to you from this address and then select the reply button. You may find it useful to add the email address into your Address Book for future use. |
